Point of Sale

Point of Sale is usually a sales process where the customer is present at the time of the sale. There are both Retail and Trade Account versions of the Till. Like the rest of the Advensys system this works entirely through the web browser.

The system is designed for self-service customers paying at a pay-point, as well as staff-service via a Trade Counter. Integration with barcode scanning, receipt printing and cash drawer is provided.

Till Transactions can be “retained” for whatever reason but the workflow will not allow such transactions to be “forgotten”. Membership/Loyalty scheme cards can also be identified at Point of Sale.

For Trade Account customers the Point of Sale module is integrated with credit control to ensure that customers do not exceed their credit limit.
