Email, Fax and Firewall

The Advensys system comes with integration of its own (separate) Linux file server as standard. This typically provides Fax, Email and Firewall facilities. In the latter case, the firewall extends only to users on site and not to remote users. All inbound emails are centrally scanned for viruses. The Linux server provides a secondary source of data backup on site and pumps backup data off site during non-core hours.

In addition the server provides a centralised print system so that printing need not rely solely on PC's attached to the system. The server can also provide shared hard drive facilities for PCs.

The server is remotely monitored and managed by Advensys personnel.
